We teach core communication skills for leading at a distance in our Retail Multiunit Management (RMM) session.  During our RMM session we now have DMs turn on their smartphones to review past emails they’ve sent to evaluate how clear their expectations were and how to better frame requests so they get done. We also have them use reinforcement via cell phone and check for reactions from their managers throughout the session. The reaction from DMs has been very positive.  We focus on what they need to learn and they see the value.
