Training is the beginning not the end
Many of our retail clients want better performance to happen fast. So do we! The challenge is often that clients forget that no matter how amazing the actual training is, if that’s all there is, peak performance doesn’t usually occur.
Over the past year we have seen a number retailers make decisions that show they understand that training is the beginning, not the end. It’s very satisfying to see senior executives become more involved in people development. Retailers who put a plan in place to preview training and set expectations not just for the managers and associates but for their boss and the boss’ boss. Everyone can and should play a role in getting the most out of any training session.
What does your company do to show that training is just the beginning?
