Winning increases winning
When we decide to develop any program it always begins with a need brought to us by the retailers themselves. We get a sense of the target audience and general challenges and then go to work with national and North American retail research and sometimes even include European and Asian retailers.
The underlying leadership foundation for all three of our retail leadership programs for multiunit managers, store managers, and support leaders in the DC and Home Office operations all share the same core. The reason is that time after time our research has shown that motivation comes from within a person more than what’s happening around them. Leaders who understand that motivation is an outcome not an input are more likely to use skills that build competence and focus on helping associates and leaders alike be successful.
Nothing increases the likelihood of more success than success. It not only builds competence but confidence that you have what it takes to do it again and potentially even better. Winning increases winning. We believe it. We know it. We teach it.
